Devlog #9: v2023.1.0.0

It all started with an idea to create my very own visual novel because I’ve been very obsessed with visual novels, I was excited to find the opportunity to make it a reality.

After a 2 year hiatus from game development, I decided to put my creative thinking to the test by participating in a game jam.

I learnt to code in Python with Ren’Py, it was a cool learning experience and I’m happy to have brought my story to life using these skills.

DBT was created under short time constraints for a game jam, there’s still more to the story but I believe I did what I could to show it’s potential.

I hope you like the v2023.1.0.0 prototype and if you have any feedback I’m happy to hear, this will help me improve my game development skills.
